Regional ERFA round – KooperierBar ‘The Visualisation of Cooperation’

16.10.2012

Spittal an der Drau – “How is it possible to make cooperation visible?”– to answer this question 25 entrepreneurs and other interested parties met on 16 October for the second kooperierBar event of the association IGO. The hosts were asut computer- und rechenzentrum gmbH and Büromaschinen Karl in Spittal an der Drau.
After an impressive guided tour of both companies, Jürgen Karl presented the ‘living’ 3-way cooperation between KARL, asut, and the company Duschnak which has been in place since 2011.
Together with Siegfried Arztmann, he gave a vivid insight into the origins of this 3-way cooperation.
Both he and Arztmann presented the pitfalls which have been successfully overcome, as well as the numerous advantages which are all part of such a 3-way constellation.
Subsequently, Thomas Kandolf, a former student of the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences in Villach, presented his bachelor thesis with its focus on the cooperation activities of the Association for Industry and Commerce in Upper Carinthia (IGO). Kandolf analysed three examples of the association’s ideal-typical cooperation projects: the ‘Raised bed – Timberra’ of Klaus Reiter (Bioholz Reiter); the toy washing machine ‘Playwash’ of Oswald Marolt (OSMA TrockNERsysteme); and the service cooperation ‘Just-in-time’ of Andreas Wilhelmer (Wilhelmer Metalbau) and Gabriela Miklitsch (Ferrochema). The aim was to visually present the cooperations, to enable the cooperation partners to have a complete overview of all the project participants and to demonstrate further potential for cooperation.
To conclude the event on cooperation, Anton Aschbacher, head of the working group on cooperation, presented a graphic overall picture of the association IGO, from which it could be seen how strongly the association is interconnected with the region of Upper Carinthia.
This event was part of the cross-border EU project ‘INCO-NET’, which is organised and supported by the development agency Entwicklungsagentur Kärnten GmbH (EAK).
